SMM Hardtops are unique in their construction. They are manufactured from galvanised steel. This means they are stronger than fibreglass, the rear door is very strong as the glass is bonded to a metal frame.

The Max hardtop is manufactured by Vandapac of Thailand. Vandapac's designers were given the brief to design a hardtop that could be mass produced to very tight standards and to a quality that was the same as the vehicles that the hardtops would be fitted to. The results are stunning and one of the lightest hardtops on the market. It is manufactured from an ABS Shell on a tubular steel space frame.
